We reported a few months ago about Austin band Velo’s debut EP. Now, the band has shared the second installment of what will be a four-part release constituting an album’s worth of material spread out over the year. Eventually, all parts will be compiled for a proper album release in 2016. Each EP corresponds to a season, and is recorded and released during that time period. The band has now released winter and spring. The Spring EP continues the floating piano pop, twinkling guitars, and crisp acoustics set forth on the Winter EP. These mellow, orchestral indie pop tracks are perfect for fans of the Britpop bands of the early 2000s. Stream the entire EP below.
