To cap their 41st season and launch their 42nd, Austin City Limits will host a taping on Tuesday, March 15th featuring a special collaboration of two music legends: Iggy Pop and Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme. The pair recently secretly recorded a new album, Post Pop Depression, which is due out just three days after the taping for Austin City Limits. While Homme has performed in front of the ACL cameras twice before, the taping will mark punk legend Iggy Pop’s first appearance on the show. As if ACL needed to further its legacy as the greatest live music show in television history, this certainly does just that. Each taping the show book is almost infallibly notable, but this taping is one you absolutely want to present for if at all possible. Register to win passes here! Good luck! Hear “Sunday” from the duo’s impending album below.
