The Districts Bring Incredible Live Show to Sidewinder Tuesday 6/27

Back in March of 2014, The Districts performed to a fairly full indoor room at Stubb’s, touring ahead of their quietly powerful breakout album, A Flourish and a Spoil. The band has continued to rise in notoriety, nabbing spots on festival bills for ACL Fest and Lollapalooza. Now touring ahead of a new album, Popular Manipulations, The Districts have taken their musical sensibilities in a new direction, looking to more dynamic, rock arrangements. What hasn’t changed at all is that the band’s live show is utterly stunning and fearless. I’ve seen them play small, intimate venues, and I’ve seen them perform on huge outdoor stages, both at ACL and at Stubb’s outdoors during SXSW. They own every stage, no matter its size or the size of the crowd. The Districts simply have it. Which is why their show tomorrow night at Sidewinder is a must-see. You can grab your tickets for just $15 right here and stream the band’s single, “If Before I Wake” below.
