You need a reason to go to Fun Fun Fun Fest? You need more than the best weather imaginable? You need more than the beautiful scenery of Auditorium Shores? The lineup itself affords a couple of hundred very good reasons for attending, and this week we’re highlighting a few. Cayucas hails from Santa Monica and infuses their breezy pop with all of the sunny summer that defines their native land. If you’re looking to stretch that summer vibe out for a few more months as our Texas fall weather begins to settle in, here’s your perfect soundtrack. Reverb tinged surf tunes recount young love and carefree fun on the band’s debut album Bigfoot, out now on the always trustworthy Secretly Canadian label. Below we share with you several singles and videos from the band. Cayucas plays the Orange Stage at 1:20 on Sunday November 10th and headlines a Nites showcase at Mohawk later that evening.
