Austere dream-pop (nightmare pop?) act Dum Dum Girls will issue their third album, Too True, through Sub Pop on January 28th, and have shared the video for album track “Lost Boys and Girls Club.” Echoing guitars whine as hollow snares keep a steady beat as frontwoman Dee Dee’s vocals swim to the surface in a sea of distortion. Elaborate, nightmarish natural sets contrast with domestic products such as microwaves and laptops as the video builds to a lightning strike crescendo, literally. Pre-order the album from Sub Pop now and get a limited edition 7″. Watch the video for “Lost Boys and Girls Club” above.
