The Districts released their debut EP on Fat Possum in January; the self-titled effort featured rootsy rock that moved from somber to frenetic as evidenced on the track “Funeral Beds.” Steady kick drum and wavering harmonica swell into a frenzy of percussion and yearning vocals. The band plays Stubb’s tonight with Austin psych rock outfit Young Tongue (formerly The Baker Family). Below you can stream a track from each of these artists. Get tickets for the show right here.
