WATERS, a project that is essentially an outlet for the creative work of one Van Pierszalowski, created after the collapse of his project Port O’Brien, issued its debut, Out in the Light in September of last year. However, eight months later, we are given a video for a track from the album, “Mickey Mantle.” The video was produced for a San Francisco based contest called the Music Video Race, and was created in 48 hours. The style of the video appears stop-motion, though it is a live-action Pierszalowski that roams a desolate apartment as he croons the lyrics to this tender, emotive folk ballad.
