Bear In Heaven’s new single “Time Between” possesses undeniable grooves. The song’s buzzing synths and relentless snare provide the backbone for Jon Philpot’s reverb-tinged vocals as well as wonderfully nuanced bass and guitar lines. There are elements of trip-hop and psych; I’m reminded of a slightly more rocked up Beta Band. The song will be featured on the group’s upcoming LP, Time Is Over One Day Old, set for release on August 5th via Dead Oceans. Dig it below.
