Get sucked into the bizarre world Mac DeMarco slithers through. This mockumentary directed by Cole Kush is a quick surreal trip into the mind of Dave Fuck, aka Backer, a regular guy specializing in car back-up services. It’s as weird as it sounds. Mac narrates with a detuned speech pattern that comforts you with its pacing and deep baritone. Get hypnotized as he dives into a CGI-generated dream about an “’07 Chev just fucking floating” and a “bird in-between two trees.” Mac and Co. has been a popular subject over here at PPI, check out this interview with side project Walter TV and our live review of the band at Mohawk during ACL.
