Cross Record’s Homecoming Show at 3Ten ACL Live Friday Night 5/20 (ATX)

After an extensive tour supporting Sheawater in myriad European and North American cities, Cross Record is coming home. The project of Emily Cross and Dan Duszynski, Cross Record creates ethereal pop that accesses tones both transcendent and austere. Whether listeners find themselves terrified or euphoric, the songs remain consistently arresting and powerful. We’ve said before that Cross Record is one of Austin’s most important bands, and I had the pleasure of profiling the band for Austin Monthly’s annual Bands to Watch feature. I can’t overstate this band’s significance and the caliber of their artistry. We’ll certainly be in attendance at the group’s show on Friday night at Austin’s newest venue, 3Ten ACL Live, located just below ACL Live at the Moody Theater.
