It’s no secret that we love weird rock saviors Big Bill here at Pop Press International. We’re not alone, as East Austin venue Electric Church has invited the band to host a residency every Friday in the month of June. The second installation of that residency happens tomorrow and Big Bill has invited noise rockers Suspirians (who will celebrate an album release), psych-rock band Soaked, and shoegaze act Soda Lilies to perform with them. Tickets are just $10 and include free drinks. Big Bill just released a new single, “Stand Still,” which features directions for a very specific dance and riffs on like-minded dance-oriented pop tunes of the 60s. Hear that song along with music from all three other bands below. Prepare your body for worship, and we’ll see you at the Church tomorrow night.
