Houndmouth Announces Self-titled EP Out on Rough Trade

Louisville, Kentucky’s Houndmouth have announced that their self-titled EP will be issued via classic imprint Rough Trade on August 28th. Recorded in their own Indiana studios dubbed “The Green Room,” the EP features four tracks, listed below. Also below, you can watch the group perform their song “Houston Train,” featuring powerful vocals by Katie Toupin, for UTOPiA sessions at SXSW. The band will be performing UTOPiAfest during the last weekend in September alongside Dr. Dog, Ben Kweller, White Denim, Dana Falconberry, and at least one more special guest to be announced.  With Houndmouth’s down to earth style and aching melodies, we couldn’t be more excited at this news and to see the band at UTOPiAfest.

‘Houndmouth’ tracklisting:
1. Penitentiary
2. Houston Train
3. Krampus
4. The Big Oil Spill
