We’ve written previously about legendary songwriter Bill Fay, his signing to Dead Oceans, and his forthcoming and long awaited full-length album, Life is People. Yesterday, Fay dropped another song from that record, “This World,” which is out August 21st. This track is considerably more upbeat than the first and features guest vocals by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. Unsurprisingly, the end result sounds a bit like Tweedy’s band, and fans will be glad to hear it. On that note, Fay has recorded an elegant version of Wilco’s “Jesus, etc.,” which you can hear below the new Fay track below.
