Brooklyn surfgaze? Yes, please. The music of Lazyeyes perfectly fuses the gritty, distorted buzz of the city and the sparkling shimmer of the sea. The trio has two songs available for free download or to stream below. “Weight” is a sleeker, more streamlined pop song, while “Nostalgia” utilizes a lower vocal register and faster-paced guitar and drums. Of the two, we’re always a fan of the construction of lean pop-songs, but both show great promise. The band plans to enter the studio soon to being work on an EP. Keep an ear out for Brooklyn’s Lazyeyes.
