If you listened to “Large Green Triangles,” the newest song released by avant-garde, orchestral pop artists Matmos, you might not know that the sharp swells and trancelike vocal samples tell the story of green triangles infusing your blood stream and translucent, glowing renditions of the ancient and powerful shape of the pyramid dominating the sidewalks and skylines of our cities–that is unless you watched the video. At least, that’s the interpretation of the song according to L-Inc., the firm responsible for the new video’s aesthetic. If you haven’t read about the epic themes and background of The Ganzfeld EP, we highly recommend doing so here. Watch the video for “Large Green Triangles” above.
