On April 2nd, NYC’s Caveman will release their eponymous sophomore album on the prestigious Fat Possum label. Ahead of that release and their extensive North American tour, which includes dates at Austin’s SXSW, the band has issued the single, “In the City.” The song is a synth fueled track that recalls a more streamlined version of M83’s recent work. Singer Matthew Iwanusa’s vocals translate as both soaring and strained and work well in the mix. We’re looking forward to catching them at SXSW and hearing more from this band’s second album.
