Youth Lagoon Announce Tour with Father John Misty

After finishing a string of dates opening for Death Cab For Cutie, followed by a brief rest, Trevor Powers will take his recording project Youth Lagoon out for a headline tour in July, supported by Father John Misty, the monniker of J. Tillman, former drummer for Fleet Foxes.  Youth Lagoon continues to support their acclaimed and beautifully rendered collection of songs, The Year of Hibernation, as Father John Misty supports his eighth effort (depending on how you count), Fear Fun.  The prolific Tillman’s new album just dropped May 1st on SubPop, and the first single, the vocal-driven, atmospheric “Nancy From Now On” has us by the ear and won’t let go.  Full tour dates for both artists below, including a FJM date in Austin at Mohawk on May 26th.
