After a close listen to the band, you won&#8217;t be surprised to learn that they acted as regional comrades Mount Eerie&#8217;s backing band during the tour supporting\u00a0<em>Clear Moon<\/em>. Hungry Cloud Darkening music often sounds like just that, especially the kind that drifts in on a Northwest afternoon, hangs around ominously yet in balanced harmony with bright washes of sun. On single &#8220;Blue Green,&#8221; dreamy guitar strums provide a backdrop for thudding bass and Allyson Foster&#8217;s high-range, drifting vocals.
