There was a time when it seemed that almost every musician was creating political songs or engaging the topic of politics in some way. However, as the presidency changed and American engagement in the Middle East has shifted, there hasn&#8217;t been much political commentary on the indie-rock front. The video for &#8220;I Wanna Rob a Bank&#8221; draws attention to the more domestic struggles and atrocities that have occurred in recent years. In particular, the bluesy-western-leaning song focuses on the Occupy Wall Street movement, to the point that interviews and live sound from protests are integrated into the video.
